Command mode
i insert mode
esc command mode
:w save file
:wq save file and quit
:q quit
:q! quit and do not save
u undo
Command mode - moving the cursor
k go one line up
j go one line down
h go one char left
l go one char right
^ go to beginning of this line
$ go to end of this line
ctr-f go down one screen
ctr-b go up one screen
Command mode - deletion
x delete the char on cursor
dw delete the whole word
dd delete the whole line
Command mode - searching
/ search forward from cursor for a pattern
? search backward from cursor for a pattern
n next result
sft-n previous result
